INT. TURNER FAMILY BAKERY – MORNING
The bakery is bustling with activity, the aroma of freshly baked goods wafts through the air. The warm and cozy interior is decorated with vintage wallpaper, checkered floors, and a display case filled with delicious pastries. A radio in the corner plays a catchy Beatles tune.
MRS. TURNER (mid-40s, warm-hearted, cheerful) hums along to the music as she puts the finishing touches on a batch of cupcakes. MR. TURNER (late 40s, jovial, mustachioed) slides a tray of steaming hot pastries out of the oven.
SALLY TURNER (15, lively, Beatles-obsessed) enters, wearing her school uniform, backpack in tow, and a Beatles badge pinned on her blazer.
SALLY
Morning, Mum! Morning, Dad!
MRS. TURNER
Good morning, love. How’s our little Beatlemaniac today?
SALLY
Oh, mum! I’m beyond excited! The Beatles are coming to London next month, and I’ve just got to see them!
MR. TURNER
(chuckles) Well, we’ll see what we can do, love. Now, grab a pastry and let’s get this day started.
The bakery door swings open, and in walks MRS. WILKINSON (50s, prim, proper, a bit nosy) and MR. CAMPBELL (60s, charming, confused inventor), both regulars at the bakery.
MRS. WILKINSON
Good morning, Turners! I’ve heard some delightful gossip that I simply must share!
MR. CAMPBELL
Morning, everyone! I’ve just had a marvelous idea for a new invention, and I can’t wait to tell you all about it!
The Turners share amused glances as they gather around their customers, eager to hear the latest news and inventions.
